Film and Motion

Because of my involvement at Create International, my work is going to be, moving forward, primarily in film. Right now, I'm not completely sure what particular roles I will be involved in. To date I have been primarily involved in the design process, as well as a bit of motion graphics. My goal for this page will be to showcase the various projects that I hope to be involved in, and what people groups that those projects are aimed at. But I am still very much a newbie in this area, and so for now this will be quite bare...

The Southern Thai Buddhist film was the first film that I was involved at Create whilst being on the actual Production team, out in the field. The film has gone through the Pre-production, as well as Production phase, and is currently going through the Post-production phase. To date, the film cannot be shown, so instead the behind the scenes short made my Jeremy:

Equip2Go

This project was actually my second project done for Create, and wasn't people-group specifc, clearly. It is aimed as a quick promo for the new Equip2Go campaign, I was invloved with the general set-up of the campaign, as well as some of the design process, and then the motion graphics for the promo itself.

You can find the website over at equip2go.org and I highly recommend that you have a look, as I think the site looks great!

Again, not a people-group specific project, but one that I was involved in quite a bit. We launched a campaign on Indiegogo to try raise funds for the new office building, and all that needed to go into it. As our first (maybe of a number?) of campigns, it was certainly a learning experience.

Create Thailand On the Move

I tagged along with the Create Perth team to create a film for the Maithili. We travelled to Nepal, and spent the time in Janakpur, a city in the south, on the boarder of India. There are approximately 46 million speakers of the language, and they consider themselves a seperate people group with their own unique culture and ethnicity, meaning the boarder means largly nothing to them in view of who they are, and where they belong. The film is currently in the editing phase back in Australia.
